Why Clash Verge
Clash Verge Rev is the actively maintained fork of Clash Verge — a desktop proxy client built on the mihomo (Clash Meta) core. It is the most popular desktop Clash client and one of the few with full VLESS+Reality support, so it works out of the box with your Store4Gateway key. It runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux only — no mobile version. On Android or iOS, use Hiddify or v2RayTun instead.
Your dashboard includes a Clash Verge tab that generates a ready-to-import profile (.yaml) containing your current server, so there is no manual editing.
Step 1 — Get the app
Clash Verge Rev is distributed only via its official GitHub releases. We do not mirror desktop installers on this site.
- Download from GitHub Releases (latest: v2.5.1)
Pick the file that matches your OS and architecture:
| OS | File pattern | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Windows | Clash.Verge_*_x64-setup.exe |
Most PCs. Windows 10/11, x64 |
| Windows | Clash.Verge_*_arm64-setup.exe |
Windows on ARM devices |
| macOS | Clash.Verge_*_aarch64.dmg |
Apple Silicon (M-series) |
| macOS | Clash.Verge_*_x64.dmg |
Intel Macs |
| Linux | Clash.Verge_*_amd64.deb |
Debian / Ubuntu |
| Linux | Clash.Verge_*_x86_64.rpm |
Fedora / RHEL |
| Linux | Clash.Verge_*_x86_64.AppImage |
Any distro (no install) |
The exact version numbers in the filenames change with each release — match the pattern, not the literal name. Before running, compare the SHA-256 checksum against the .sha256 file attached to the same release (macOS: shasum -a 256, Windows: Get-FileHash, Linux: sha256sum).
Step 2 — Get your Clash profile from the dashboard
- Log in to store4gateway.com/dashboard.
- Open the Clash Verge tab under your access key.
- Click Download .yaml (or Copy YAML and save it as
store4gateway.yaml).
Important: switching your server region or rotating your key on the dashboard changes your connection details. Download the profile again afterwards — a stale profile keeps pointing at the old server.
Step 3 — Import the profile into Clash Verge
Option A — Drag & drop (recommended)
- Launch Clash Verge Rev.
- Open the Profiles page (left sidebar).
- Drag
store4gateway.yamlonto the window. It appears as a new profile.
Option B — New profile dialog
- Profiles → New → Local File.
- Select the downloaded
.yaml, or paste the YAML content into the editor and save.
Option C — Import the share link directly
If you haven't downloaded the YAML, you can paste your vless:// URL directly: Profiles → New → Import from clipboard. Clash Verge converts share links into a profile automatically. (The full YAML is still recommended — it also includes your Shadowsocks 2022 fallback and a ready-made proxy group.)
Step 4 — Connect
- Select the Store4Gateway profile on the Profiles page (it becomes the active profile — the one with the "active" dot).
- Open the Overview (home) page and click System Proxy to route traffic through the tunnel. This works for most users.
- Prefer a system-wide VPN? Enable TUN Mode instead. On Windows and macOS, TUN requires installing the Service Mode helper first — Clash Verge prompts you and needs administrator rights once.
- Keep Mode: Rule (the default) — the profile already contains the routing rules.
Step 5 — Verify
Open store4gateway.com/check in your browser.
You should see "✓ You're connected via our proxy". If not, toggle System Proxy off and on, then re-check.
Troubleshooting
"Error: Test connection failed" or no traffic
- Make sure the right profile is active (blue dot on the Profiles page) and System Proxy (or TUN) is on.
- Try the other entry in the proxy group — the profile includes your VLESS key and (when available) a Shadowsocks 2022 fallback. Click the group selector on the home page to switch.
TUN mode asks for a password / won't start
- Clash Verge needs its Service Mode helper installed. In Settings, install the service and restart the app. This requires an administrator account.
Websites load slowly or some sites don't open
- Check the Connections page for blocked rules. If a site is being routed to DIRECT by mistake, switch the proxy group selection on the home page.
Everything worked before but now fails
- You likely switched server region or rotated your key — re-download the profile from the dashboard (Step 2). Region switches change your server address; the old profile cannot reach the old server.
"Invalid config" when pasting the vless:// link
- Make sure you copied the complete
vless://...URL end-to-end. Or just use the YAML profile from the dashboard instead — it never needs manual parsing.
Old Clash Verge (not "Rev")
- The original Clash Verge was discontinued in 2023 and its old bundled core does not support VLESS+Reality. Uninstall it and install Clash Verge Rev from the link in Step 1.
